Everytime there's a blog post I'll paste them in here, so they don't get lost. In a few years time it might be nice to look back on this thread! Very Happy

Today is the day! We have finally gotten around to building our website revolving around our budgies!

We hope to have the cam up and running by tomorrow (I have my Mr Tech, Lyle, working on it right now!) - also, our forum is now up and running, simply click on the forums button to the left to be taken straight there!

As soon as the cam is ready you will be able to watch our budgies fly, socialise and play with the toys in their cage. Further down the line we're also hoping to purchase a cam that will allow our viewers to listen to the budgies sing and chirp as they go about their daily lives!

As well as our two budgies we will also be able to point the cam at our rats, mouse, fish, Fire Bellied Toads and Giant African Land Snail - so there is much excitement to come!

Welcome, and please keep checking back to watch our progress Smile

Animal antics and other news!
12 Aug

Our budgie forum is now even easier to register to!

We've had a busy week here with the animals. All the rodents needed cleaning out on the same day, which meant we were up to our eyeballs in dirty cardboard and wood shavings! The rats were free roaming their room whilst I scrubbed the cage, and Okto kindly wandered over to help, stole the scourer I was using and ran off with it under the shelves where I couldn't reach it - thanks a bunch! Razz

Then today Lenny our rabbit escaped from his run after we accidentally didn't close the hatch properly last night. Our neighbour came over to tell us he was in her garden (thankfully she didn't mind as she adores Lenny and was just worried about him!) so Edge ran out and chased Lenny around three gardens before managing to give him a treat and grab him whilst he was eating! He's back safe and sound now and seemed relieved to be home again.

On top of that we've had voluntary jobs, vet visits and friends visiting so it's all been a bit hectic - we had the vet over just to check on Kanji, as he'd been a little under the weather for a few days. The vet said he seemed very healthy and it was probably the stress of moving to a new home that had caused some runny poops. He has instructed us to put antibiotics in their water just to be on the safe side, but both budgies are looking great at the moment and are having a whirl playing with all the toys in their cage. Today Kanji was caught between the toy with the spinning mirrors and the big sunflower mirror, and he was screaming at both his reflections and darting about like crazy thinking he was surrounded by strange birds!!

Also we would like to thank everyone for the views to our website - we have counted well over 1000 first-time viewers already so thank you everybody for watching our budgie cam live stream! Smile
