What do you see on cam?!

Red it is nice to "talk" like this! The budgies stil seem to be having a good time lots of the toys at the top of the cam are swinging like they have budgies on or have been on. Also the camera angle has been changed slightly hasn't it you can see more perches on it now and tous too the rainbow one has been moved. I can't work out where the budies are?

The budgies are on top of their wicker heart, a favourite haunt of theirs'!

Oh look I can see Kanji! He is swinging on a green perch to the right of the camera he is swinging fast and keeps swinging into view he looks like he's having a ball! He is facing the direction of the camera and looks very pleased with himself

Now Rambva has moved to be closer to him on a branched perch and he is right in full view of the camera close up perfectly filling the screen he looks beautiful. Now Kanji has flown to another swinging perch I think closer to Ramba still and Kanji is swinging on that don't they have fun? They have both flown off again I think they are on the wicker perch again.

Somebody I assume Red has just been doing something in the budgie cage. I can't tell what though. The food tray was put back but some other things are in there too one is under all the perches you can just see it it looks like some kind of stand and the other is a tray of some sort to the right. The budgies are ignoring everything and are playing with the toy Ramba with rings and Kanji stood on the one that has a hammer.

But they completely ignored it of course. I think I might use Isabelle's spray bottle to mist them with warm water, as they're supposed to like that, and they're refusing to wash The other thing (which I'll move tomorrow so you can see it better on cam) is a cup holder. You know the wooden ones with bits that stick out to put mugs on? I thought the budgies might fit on the sticky-out bits and it could be used as a perch!

Okay, I've swapped stuff around a little. They have a new toy hanging halfway up the wall opposite the cam, to the side of the wicker heart. It's a red apple-shaped perch with a mirror and seed tray inside, so I'm sure they'll like that

I can't see any higher up but I have a perfect view of both budgies eating from the tray at the bottom it looks to be getting dark butt I can see Kanji very clearly white in the gloom oh he has just flown onto the perch. They are both their now.

Kanji broke out today!! Ramba broke out within the first week we got him, but Kanji hasn't managed it until now! They don't mean to break out, they just freak if I bother their cage too much...today I poured their food into the truck with the food in there (normally I remove the truck so the box stays outside the cage), and with the box in there they were not happy...instead of staying still, which would be the sensible option, they started flying around, Kanji flew into the box ( ) and then panicked even more and soared straight out the door.

Edge popped Kasper away whilst I chased Kanji all around the room. Ramba and Kanji were frantically calling each other but Kanji was NOT happy about being caught!! Remember he attacked the vet? Yeah well my fingers got absolutely battered and he even managed to get my face at some point hahaha he's a feisty little so-and-so!

Oh, also they have a new perch and toy in their cage. Only seen Kanji use the toy so far but they both like the perch, it's a thick branch one and they seem to like those best

He broke out that is funny I can just imagine you all chasing him about at least you got him back safe and sound! Ramba is being a sweety at the moment I can just see him to the left on a perch he is playing fiercley with something it could be the fairly new ribbon toy anyway he is enjoying himself. I can't see Kanji I hope he hasn't brbroken out again!!

It was a bit of a nightmare actually as our ceiling is quite high, and if Kanji had flown towards the stairs he would have been 18ft above us and we'd have no way to get him down!

That was very lucky then do you have a fishing net you could have been chasing after him with it!!

No I don't think we do...god knows how we'd have got him back, maybe had to wait until he got hungry

Red I cannot see the budgiecam website the picture of the birds is not showing I do miss them!

Red I do feel sorry for bothering you!!! But the camera is not working again in fact I cant get onto the budgiecam website at all! Sorry and it was working yesterday after your reply maybe I have just jinxd it!

Oh don't worry about it Janet its useful to be told when the cam is down we have to wait a day, but by tomorrow it should (!) Be up and running again

Aaaagh sorry Janet! (actually it's Edge's fault not mine this time, ha!) We moved loads of furniture around and he *still* hasn't put the cam back online...I shall hit him continuously until he does!

Yes the cam has been running fine for me the last few days, I do love watching them going about there daily business. Kanji is looking a bit perkier nowadays, did his first shed clear up ok?
