Snow joke ~ the weather thread!

Does anybody else have this crazy snow?!

It's mostly melted now, there's a few icy inches left coating everything, but Monday morning, whoo! We woke up to about 7 / 8 inches of snow, it was incredible! We had a great day, walking Betsy the beagle, having a friend over to go sledging with. It was great fun! Even Zoey didn't mind it too much, although it was up to her shoulders

Here's the forest at the bottom of our garden. It was beautiful, just all pure white...even the branches of every tree had a good couple of inches balancing on them!

It's been snowing pretty much all day today too, just not very heavily!

Red that's a lott of snow you must have been very happy! We got a fair bit for round here, although not that much, about 2 inches. I love the first photo. Well the weather now...for the last 5 days I think we have just had rain and lots of it!!!

We're still having a lot of rain!! Today it was snowing from 5am - 11am, quite heavy fluffy flakes, but it didn't settle...just made the ground wet It's either been hammering with rin, sleet or pitiful snow ever since....luverly!

Well, from that Sunday until Tuesday we had snow without any settling. Then on Wednesday it settled and we got about 2 inches by lunchtime and had ourselves a bit of a snow day, which was nice! I'll post pics in the other thread...I'm starting to think Janet has got snowed up in the lakes on her holiday haha where are you?!?
